Similar experience here from this number 888 224 9924. I actually found this page by searching for the number. They had me up until they asked for payment info. They called me, asked for the email associated with my student loans, asked me for the digits "they" sent in a confirmation email. I gave them the number. They actually had submitted a request to change the password and that is why I got the email. Now they had access to my loan amount and said I could save more than 50% of the total amount paid by making payments through them, with an additional 4x$250 and 24x$29 monthly payment to "make sure I stay enrolled" JUST HANG UP. SCAM

- Lafayette, CO, USA

On May 28 I received a call from Bradley Conway, phone number 714-709-4276, customer service 888-224-9924, with Document Assist Center, or Student Service Support, I'm not sure of the company, he used both names throughout. I was contacted through my cellphone, all the info he provided seemed legit, about my student loan debt (which now I know is easy to find). He said that he worked with a company that helped people with the student loan forgiveness program and said that I qualified because of my full financial hardship. We communicated on the phone, he explained everything clearly, but I had to pay $199/month for the first 4 months, then he would work with me for 2 years to make sure I file the paperwork correctly... now that I look back I shouldn't have agreed to pay this money.... He said I would fall into the $29/month category for the first 2 years. So, it looks like now that he was actually "charging" me $1,492 over 2 years to help me file a form twice and submit paperwork once. Then he said that after 2 years I would pay $0/month for 216 months of the term- as long as I submitted my income verification statement. I did send him this income verification letter which included my social security number and signature, and that is what I'm still worried about. I did give him a cc#, and it was going to process the first $199 on June 12. I had called and said that I couldn't pay the 4 installments so he "asked his supervisor" and I was going to pay $199 the first month, then $165 in August and September- he lowered my fees for their services b/c I said I didn't have income to spare right now (pandemic- vulnerable time for all). On the 11th of June I realized this is probably a scam, and I texted him that I needed to cancel- he did call me right back but at this point I didn't want to talk to him. I canceled the cc he had, but he still has my ss#. So I did credit checking and put a flag on my credit- nothing had happened as of the 11th. at 6am on the 12th, there was an unauthorized device trying to log into my cc account (the cc I gave him which is now canceled). I have been changing all the passwords to everything now. Everything was done on phone calls and text (he would call me back in a timely way).... I signed stuff electronically, and I gave him a screenshot of my verification of income, with my ss# and signature (wtf was I thinking?). When I asked him to cancel the process, he did not reply and I did not call. The website with my info on it (the login he gave me) didn't have the documents I signed attached to it, which is what I would expect if this was legit. When I searched the ScamPulse.com when I started feeling like this was a scam, I did see Bradley's name in one of the complaints. He seems very legit, very real, very sincere, this is just crazy, and makes me sick and sad. Another thing that was weird is he went in and "created" an online account with my current student loan when I already had an account set up with them. He sent me a login that went directly to studentservicesupport.com where all my info is, he gave me a login and password, but once I'm in there the only info there is the cc info I gave him (which I canceled) but then someone tried to log into that cc account on the morning of the 12th. And the screenshot of the letter I wrote is in there too. I am hoping that I am protecting my identity well enough at this point. This is very scary and sad that people take advantage of people during vulnerable economic times.
