I purchased a handbag from a website called dobe4sale.com. The handbag was advertised as a Dooney and Bourke bag for around 40.00. QVC also advertised the same bag for 40.00. I purchased one bag from QVC and received an authentic Dooney and Bourke bag with their logo on the front metal plate, tags and a letter from D and B. The handbag I ordered from dobe4sale had no Dooney and Bourke identification at all. When I wrote to the organization to complain they did not address the authenticity issue and instead offered me 10% off. If you look at the website you can see how deceiving the ads are. The website advertises the bag as a "D and B" bag and shows pictures of a Dooney and Bourke store. They also mention that that the bag is "QVC recommended." If you look at the main picture on dobe4sale the Dooney and Bourke label is blurred out on the front. I have included a picture of the bag I received so you can compare my bag to the ads.
