I signed up to have my DMV record pulled. The site stated it was a one time $1 fee. They have charged me $28.95/mos for the past 3 months without my consent.

I thought https://www.dmvrecord.com was the state's dmv website but later found out they are not affiliated with the Department of Motor Vehicle. The website prompted for a payment of $1 to retrieve my car record requested. But the scammers charged my credit card 2 additional times for $28.95 each. Total amount lost is $58.90. $57.90 charged of their service without my consent. Reminder: The real DMV does not charge to receive your driving record. Beware of scammers.

Purchased a dmv record for $1.00. Later on received an unauthorized charge for $30.00. I only purchased the one record for myself in the amount of $1.00. Nothing more.

I purchased a records request from DMVRecord.com. This was for a VIN number record on my Toyota pickup truck. The charge was supposed to be a ONE TIME $1.00. I then immediately started getting additional charges I did not authorize. Two charges in the amount of $28.95 each. The first charge was on 1//5/25 for $1.00. The second followed shortly on 1/8/25 for $28.95. The third which is now pending on my bank Visa debit card is another $28.95. I called my bank ( Oregon State Credit Union) and reported the fraud. The bank froze the debit card and is issuing a new debit card. I will pick it up tomorrow at the bank. I requested a new card because I fear this business may try use my old debit card for additional charges I do not authorize. This seems to be a widespread scam as I looked it up on the internet. Lots of folks reported it to the BBB.
