Received a phone call stating I owed a payday loan. I only had 1 and paid it last year. They threatened me with a summons to appear. They would come to my door or my place of employment. They contacted my family. The more I research this the more I come to the realization they have no legal right to do so. Mr. Dan Walker could not provide me with any paperwork of my debt, no fax number, no website he could provide, no email they could provide......he basically said pay or go to court. His tactics are very threatening and he likes to talk over you. I explained I needed to look up my paperwork and he said don't bother I have never been wrong in the 15 years I have worked here and if your right I'll apologize. I called him back stating I had proof and he magically had a fax number to give me to fax my receipt. He is scammer! If your county wanted you they would come to your door from your court in your county without a phone call.
