The call starts off as automated saying that I have won a monetary prize with the Discover credit card company. When I do get a chance to speak with a real person, they are Middle-Eastern sounding. I personally do not own a Discover credit card or any credit card.

They seem to be using google services to obtain fake phone numbers to call from - a lot of times they reuse phone numbers sometimes they do not.

When when speaking to a real person, They are very aggressive in trying to obtain personal/private information - Who do I bank with, where do I live, where do I work and how much do I make. When I refused to provide them with this information they do get very mean, I personally have been told that my phone call is being tracked and they will come find me and arrest me if I do not provide them with this information.

I received a call from James Morgan, MM1213, with an accent, that said he was from Discover Card and that I needed to verify my CC# to lower my interest rate to below 10%. I said that if you are from Discover, tell me my account number. He said the first four numbers and I responded, that is correct, as all Discover credit cards start with the same 4 numbers. He kept saying that he could not give me my account number as it is against Federal Rules. I hung up on him. The number showed as a local number, so I tried to call back & it was disconnected.
