They said they are going to pay any kind of utility bill, credit card bills, auto payments or anything. For the fraction of the amount or even for 40%.
That all sounded good. I asked them how does it work? They replied : we work with different companies and vendors and collect the gift cards. The ones that are unused they make payment from them. So it's a win win situation for both parties. "for us/customers 60%discount and for them is cash out of the gift card".
They ask for account number and sometimes last four digits of ss# then make the payment ask you to call and make sure if it's been paid. Once you confirm. They will ask you to send money through Walmart to Walmart with 48-72 hours. After doing that you send they receipt /confirmation number through text message. (it looks like an American number but is actually Google number).
After receiving the funds. They will reverse the payments that were made to your account within 2 weeks time. I lost almost $1400. After being scammed people feel ashamed and embarrassed so they don't report it. Please spread the word. They are unreachable. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE.
