Last Sunday I got a text from Verizon offering a free fitbit like device called a smart bracelet, as a valued customer. I was only asked to pay for s&h. I clicked it and was taken to a Verizon page which looked real. I was billed $6.87, then charged another $6.87, the name of the company is Direct Tech Deals Today. I called and asked why I was billed twice. He said you ordered earbuds too, and they have been shipped. "It's a great deal" he said. I got the ear buds and the smart bracelet device. On the next Sunday, my bank statement debited $108. I called and was told I was being charged for the smart bracelet and earbuds. I replied they were offered to me free through Verizon. I told him I was disputing the charges. He agreed to refund the $108. I called Verizon fraud dept who knew nothing about the promotion. The 1st transaction: Direct Tech Deals Today - 833-795-7842, statement reads California Shop BG Store 888-672-4389. The 2nd transaction: Shoptesto Products 855-210-9097. The smart bracelet and earbuds are made in China.
