Type of a scam Online Purchase
Received confirmation of approval to be a part of the event, the sent payment via Paypal in the amount of $236.25. Received a confirmation email from both Pay Pal and Events organizers of payment for the event.
A week or so before the event, I was checking for updates and realized the Facebook Group and page were gone, the website was down and phone number no longer in service. Contacted location and they confirmed it had been canceled a while back.
I have emailed for a refund with no reply.
