I got a letter in the mail that stated I qualified for student loan forgiveness and it even had my loan amount on there. I was so naive and believed that they were legitimate, so I partially blame myself. I got in touch with the company because I thought they were through the department of education based on how they worded the letter. They made it appear as if they were the only ones who could get me these low rates, and in order to join the loan program I had to pay a one time fee. They didn’t state that the fee was for them to process the paperwork (which is something anyone can do on their own!). They made it appear as if I had to pay this money to be apart of this program. I payed $799.00!!! Please don’t let this company scam you. Anyone can get into loan forgiveness programs and anyone can consolidate their own loans, so don’t let companies like this lead you to believe that you have to go through them to get into these programs.
