I was charged a late fee of $37. The merchandise was immediately returned to Dillard’s on February 2. The charge should have been eliminated, but it was not. The charge was still active on February 17th. There was no merchandise, therefore, the charge should have been eliminated.

I caught the late charge that should not have been there, but how many LATE FEES HAVE BEEN COLLECTED without the customer catching the FRAUDULENT CHARGES. People who return merchandise before the payment date should NOT have to pay the charge. THIS COULD RUN THOUSANDS IF NOT HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars that people are charged for returned merchandise.
