I was trying to get to my bank account when all these bells, whistles, and message came on that my computer was breached and it was locked, It said to call the number down in the right hand corner which said Microsoft. So I called the number and a tech guy tried several attempts with me before getting to their sight, He claimed a trojan was in my computer and I needed to take immediate action as it was gathering all my information. He quoted several prices and persuaded me to do a 4 year plan for$499. After explaining what they needed to do he turned me over to a service guy in Orlando who added in charges for doing the work and sales tax, In the end the amount jumped to $1180.74! He said they only accepted checks so he proceeded to get my information. Then they took over my computer and did I don't know what all. When they were done they called back to let me know they were releasing control back to me. The whole thing took 2 1/2 hours and my daughter missed a class. I will stop the check and go to my computer specialist to get this removed.
