A false WFH company named Digital Profit Stream https://digitalprofitstream.com/ or Jeffrey's World https://jeffreysworld.com/ has been victimizing many people and including mysel[censored] The people responsible are Joe Luz (real name is Jose Salcido Jr) Dakota Smith, Abebe Gebregiorgis, Jeffrey LaFave and Bob Lambert. They are targeting people and mostly from Texas to work for them on a 1099 position as a recruiter marketing agent, sales associates and models. They have been soliciting people on Upwork, Indeed, Facebook job groups, Hire Easy and other social media platforms. They are supposed to be a "startup Virtual World company" based out of Wyoming (the registered agent Bob Lambert lives in California and has over 20 registered businesses throughout the United States ) that needed 1000 employees working for them by the end of the month and to sign up for the Aflac insurance through a jotform ( include family's personal information to have them "covered"). After researching I found out that have no LinkedIn presence and to be focused on the metaverse; they have no presence there as well. They claimed to offer mandatory insurance from Aflac and the agents Frank Maldonado, Gayla Cruikshank and Amanda Risner are apart of the scam as well. They are preying on people's bank account information, social security number and other personal information. They are hiring people on at wages from $30 to $100 per hour, asking them to submit their W9 and bank account information for direct deposit and mandatory insurance application for onboarding, people work start working immediately only to be told that they now will be getting paid in crypto currency named the Jeffrey Coin but had to pay $38 each to them to set up a crypto wallet or they would not be paid. We found multiple articles about Jose preying on people with this type of scam for about a decade. He is a wage scammer, and creating fake jobs and fairs for identity theft in which he started with Craigslist. Dakota is not in the country but actong as the HR personnel onboarding and obtaining people's information then later blocking them out of their "company" emails. They have not paid many of us and has blocked us. Also, have taken money out of some of our bank accounts due to the information they've obtained.
