We received an anonymous phone call from someone claiming to be from Digitaladsexp claiming we accepted SEO services back in 2022 and they tried calling, emailing, and sending us invoices. This was the first time we heard of them and we hadn't received anything prior. He claimed to be in legal/collections department because of the previous failed attempts and when I asked why they called anonymously he said it was because people answer those and not from his number. He asked what our intentions were for this $2210.49 bill and I said we weren't going to pay it because they couldn't send me any sort of contract. He claimed we 'accepted' services through an online verification they performed where they somehow knew our old bank, but not our account information. He also had my old email from 2020 and the bank was also from 2020. He said he was going to escalate it to their lawyers next. I asked for an invoice and he sent one dated for that day (May 11th) that had the total but wasn't very descriptive with the services provided. I asked for a contract or any sort of recording of us accepting services but he couldn't provide it. His said his name was Evan Hollister with Accounts Receivables. I can't attach the invoice he sent because the last 4 times I tried it didn't load.
