Scammer went by the name of Benjamin Diego. He said he was 57 years old, lived in Arizona and he was employed as a contract welder. We used Hangouts/Google Meet to chat because he would not give out his phone number. He told me: his wife died 6 years ago, he was suicidal, his son died in a head-on car collision, he was raising his only grandchild, Isaac, himself. He had a dog in pictures and said it was a german shepherd but it looked more like a beagle (brown, black with white tail)! He also said he was on drugs for a few months. He said that he owned a Mercedes but drove an SUV most of the time. We talked for months and we were going to meet this year in January. But he then said he landed in the hospital...I am not given the name of the hospital OR the reason he was there. He didn't text for days on end claiming the hospital took away his phone. He hasnt answered me since. I did a reverse image search and found him on numerous dating sites around the world. I did not find him on Google or Bing, but I did find him on Yandex. I regret not looking him up sooner.
