An email was received from ([email protected]) claiming: "you have been chosen to participate in our loyalty program for FREE! It will take you only a minute to receive this fantastic prize." The fake "prize" was a YETI M20 BACKPACK COOLER. The mailing information was filled out, and the site stated I needed to pay 8.95 cents for shipping and handling, I used my Capital One cabelas credit card to pay the 8.95. After my card was processed, I received an email with an order summary for 43.93, the shipping entry was blank, the product name was Yeti Sweeps and 10x Sweeps Entries, QTY 1 for each entry. Upon contacting Capital One and discovering this was a scam and fraudulent charge, I was informed of 7 additional attempts on my credit card, for various amounts, 43.93 and 34.00 were some of the prices. I am attached some files to substantiate my claim. These people now have our email and home address as well as our credit card information.
