Hello, I am Stephanie Russo. I was contacted by a Diana Baker and she was allegedly told me she had a shipping deal through Amazon. I found this information on Craigs List. I got an email from Amazon saying about the transfer of money and that I had to buy three five hundred dollar gift cards for the car. I will forward you all of the messages from Amazon. I found out this was a scam and ripped me off. They took my money and they said it was from Amazon. They got the pins for the gift cards and used them. The next email from me will contain the emails from "Amazon". I have also contacted the FBI as well as my local police department. I am seventeen years old and I was going to get my first car through this and it was the money I saved up for my first car. I want to get my money refunded and to figure all of this out. The cost of the car was $1,500. They sent me instructions to buy 3 Amazon gift cards in cash. The person who I talked to one the phone told me that they worked for Amazon and I gave them the number for the gift cards. When my Mom called a day after my birthday on the 7th, Amazon told her that they knew about this scam before this even happened to me. I did what the instructions told me and after I found out it was a scam, I went to the police, reported it to amazon, and I also reported it to the FBI as well as my diamond cu. I am very angry because Amazon knew about this scam going around and did not send out any alerts. I am going to contact my lawyer if i do not get my money back. This is completely ridiculous because I am only 17 years old and I worked so hard to save up my money. I went to my Diamond bank today and they told me that they could not do anything to help me so i do not want to hear go to your bank and talk to them. Amazon will not help me out because these were your gift cards and that the money I put on there could have been stopped if Amazon actually did their job to try to help me. When I called to stop the cards because they were basically stolen, they kept transferring me
