Pug Scam

I was feeling she was legitimate. I tried to send her money 2 ways for a Down payment on a pug. My bank wouldn't let it go through, Thank God or I'd be out of 300. I trusted her but obviously she saw me as a target. Not sure why FB doesn't shut her down!

Pretending to have a page on Facebook called Pug Puppies for Adoption.

Lots of genuine pictures and recommendations but something just smelled wrong.

Looking at the Facebook Profiles of those who recommended her, all of their 'friends' were Nigerian or American.

Asking for payment to US based CashApp then asking for Vets Fees after agreeing Adoption fee.

Lies and says based in Roundhay area of Leeds, UK but shows puppy in a Left Hand Drive truck with other American vehicles in the shot.

Video shot at the vet with the 'puppy' clearly show the Vet is American.

I saw an ad on Facebook for a puppy and I sent $1000 through Zelle for a pug puppy. After that they reached out to me requesting additional money she needed it for the vet. I said give me the vet's address and I will go pay them. They said that they don't work that way. I have not received the puppy and know I was scammed.
