The scammer is selling cacapoo puppies on a website using payments through Zelle. They have you fill out a pre-screening process and when you are selected, you put down a deposit for your puppy(500). They then send you a lot of pictures and a contract to complete and sign. Seems legit. Then shipping day arrived. At this time, the puppy is already paid for along with the shipping. Next, I get an email from the shipping company (Ecologisticsincglobal.com) stating that they need me to buy a specific temperature controlled crate in order for the puppy to be shipped. They want 1700, which can only be paid by Zelle, but is fully refunded when the crate is returned. At this point, i pushed back and asked that the breeder pay this. Back and forth with him asking for more money to help because he didn't have it. Ended in me asking for my money back, and him promising to pay it back the next day. Of course, no money was received.
