Person sent an email informing me she was with the US Dept. of Education and that I was eligible for loan forgiveness program. They said the application needed to be completed by 1/31/2022. The phone number they said to call was 855-773-1069. When I called and was talking with a man, red flags went up due to his ignorance. I had to repeat the spelling of my name, my address and email about 5 times each. He asked for credit card info and SS# which I did not provide. I asked him to mail the packet from US Dept. of Educ. to my address.

He sent a second email while I was on the phone with him with a link that I needed to click on, which I did not do. I told him I had an appointment and would call him back.
