I was called by someone who identified them self as David James who worked for the Dept. of Courier Service. I was told they were trying to deliver a letter to my mother and confirmed her address. They said they were there and no one was home and wanted to return there to have a letter signed. I asked them what kind of letter and he said it was a civil matter. He asked if i was in charge of her financial matters. I did not reply and I told him my brother lives there I will inform him about this. He gave me a case number and a phone number to call. I waited awhile then called the number on my caller id. Which said the person at the number could not take calls. I called the number he gave me and I gave them the case number. He asked for my social security number and I told him I don't give that out. This made him really mad! He said how do I know that this is you I said I never told you that was who I was because I am not her. I told him if they have something they can mail it. He called me a scammer I told him he was the scammer and I have already read about his kind of scams online and they better not be calling anymore. He kept screaming scammer has I hung up on him.
