I received a call from someone claiming to be the Department of Medicaid. They asked for my Medicaid ID number and asked for me to verify my address. They told me they had a correspondence for me that they had to send through email and they asked me if I saw any of their other emails, I told them no and they told me that I owe the Department of Medicaid money from 2017. They sent me an email but I didn't open it because I didn't want them to be able to access any of my information. I contacted the police and they told me to contact BBB. I also contacted Medicaid and they told me they would never call and ask for personal information or money.
