The scammer is calling non-English speakers stating they are from the department of misdemeanors and the person answering needs to present them self to a court hearing in Detroit. They are telling the victims they have two options, 1.Contact Colgate and rearrange a payment plan or 2. Present themselves to court in Detroit. If they do neither Law Enforcement will go look for them at their home. When I call the number or look for the address online it is no where to be found. I contacted the agency as an advocate and the person answering states she is the helper. When I asked to speak to the Attorney in charge the person on the other line refused to give me any further information and stated that the person in charge is not in the office.
