- Denver, CO, USA

A professor at Colorado Mesa University got him email hacked by a man named Henry Ortiz who claimed he worked for Dentsu Aegis to advertise the 2020 Olympic Games. The email initially was sent from the professors account and encouraged students to click on the email usjoboffer1712 for more information. Doing so, the student then would be asked to fill out a few questions by the hiring director “Henry Ortiz” under the promise of making 300 a week for putting a decal on their car. After more emails, it was revealed that the company wanted to have the student deposit a check to pay for their “specialist” to come and put on the car decal. Radar went off.
