I was contacted by a lady who introduced herself as a recruiter for Dennis Uniform (a valid company but they weren't hiring), they stated they got my resume from Monster.com she put me in contact via skype text to a man who interviewed me. I gave him only basic information. they sent a form for direct deposit that had small print on it saying they could make deposits and any necessary withdrawls needed per employment. I didn't sign the form or fill it out. I googled Dennis Uniform and asked that a person from their HR department contact me. He advised there had been several people call them regarding the same issue. I found it a little odd that they were going to send me a computer, funds to set up a remote office in my home, expense account but I had not spoke with anyone directly on the phone. everything was done online. the next day I get an fedex envelope with a $4600 check in it. I googled the name the check was drawn on and called that business. turns out he had some checks stolen, he was a retired vet who had a business account for his rental properties. He caught it before he lost any money but stated he had calls from 3 other people regarding checks drawn on his business account. I called FBI and they stated they would not investigate because this issue was too widespread. said they would be innundated with reports if they did
