A fake ad was posted on puppyfind.com. The scammer crafted a scenario and even provided a reference, who turned out to be a part of the fraud business. I spoke with the scammer who called himself "Dennis Pahner" on the phone and the reference, "Sylvia Hair" through text messages. They both specifically instructed me to use the "Friends and Family" option through PayPal to make a payment and promised to send the puppy to be delivered to be two days later. As soon as the scammer confirmed the money was in transaction, he blocked my number and I was no longer able to contact him.
