Delta Tech bills itself as a business-oriented computer equipment supplier. A specific model of motherboard crucial to work I was doing showed itself on their site as 'In Stock' and at a reduced price. Instead of similar options from eBay vendors, I opted to purchase from Delta Tech. I received an order confirmation in my email inbox and soon after my PayPal account was charged (the PayPal it was charged to was strangely titled Gettapes.com.)

A further email (the same day) indicated that my order status had been changed to 'awaiting fulfillment'--and from that point on, I received no contact from Delta Tech, including any tracking/shipping information. After 5 days, I called the service line and was told, confusingly, that they were waiting for the product to be in stock and would proceed with shipment afterwards. While we were speaking, I could see clearly that the item was still listed as 'in stock' on the website.
