I thought I was calling Delta Airlines to request a seat assignment. The person I spoke to said there was a charge for the seat assignment. They said all seats were unconfirmed until I got to the airport unless I paid for the confirmation. I finally hung up the phone and called the actual customer service phone number for Delta Airlines.
