I applied for a research opportunity. I later received an email stating I was accepted and would receive instructions in the mail along with a check for my payment which I did. I deposited the check. The funds became available the following day so I proceeded with assignment which was to purchase various gift cards and report about customer service to a specific person at a number provided by text only and send pictures of the cards which I did, and the cards were not for the company or the individual whom I was texting, they were supposed to be for my next assignment. However, I checked the cards balances a couple hours later and realized that the money had been taken off via an app call fluzpay. Then a couple days later the payment of the original check had been stopped, therefore leaving our account in the negative.

I was called by this person, and then interviewed with another two people via online for a job at Deloitte and these individuals all claimed to work for Deloitte, then the recruiter told me about the job offer and told me it was going to be sent in writting after 2 days I contacted the phone number and nobody will answer and they all dissappear.

Paula Clarke, Christopher Knight, Hiro Yoshida all claimed to be employees at Deloitte.

Just be aware of these individuals, I'm not sure if they are authentic or not, just raising a flag to be aware of.

I'm a mystery shopper/ store evaluator. I received an email with a link to apply to do a store evaluation. After completing the application I received a cashier's check via USPS with instructions on the requirements to complete the evaluation. I was told to deposit/ cash the cashier's check and after the funds cleared to proceed to any local store selling Nike gift cards. Once the check cleared, I purchased the gift cards, completed the evaluation and reported my findings. Two days later my bank returned the check. I've made several attempts to contact the company and haven't received any response.
