Calling from 1-800-624-9897, people calling themselves Mark or Adam Smith called from Dell claiming that they were receiving many alerts from my computer. They asked for remote access to my computer after suggesting I go to the event viewer. However, they did not have badge numbers or the normal Dell set-up.
