I ordered a product from Mike Epps Mustang Restoration, a company out of Indiana. Two days after the product was purchased, I received a confirmation number (985623147856) from Downstream Transportation. When I accessed their site (https://downstreamtransportation.com) it required me to make a $799 refundable deposit. I tried calling the company to confirm this and left a message. The next day the restoration company reached out, informing me I had to pay the $799 deposit for the product to be picked up. I paid the deposit via Zelle to [email protected]. I'm attaching the confirmation I received after payment indicating the products were "out for delivery" on 16 Feb. I have tried to call and email the transport company to no avail. The restoration company is not replying either. I strongly believe these companies might be fake and I was scammed for a total of $2,399.
