I’m going through the same ordeal.
Ordered a 250.00 part on Facebook marketplace from Montana from a David Bertrant David.
Product shipped with Delivery Express Courier.
Looked up tracking number and was informed package was on hold until we sent 150.00
We did not send 150.00

Bought an item from an individual on Facebook. After payment that individual vanished, was then contacted by a courier company that is requesting more money in order to complete the shipment of a product that may not even exist. They are stating that they stopped my package halfway on its route to me, to hold for safe keeping until I pay another 300 dollar deposit to them so that they can ensure the package arrives safely, and then they will refund the 300. I don't believe they will refund the money nor do I believe that they have my item at all. I spoke to one gentleman on the phone, it does not sound like a legitimate business at all.

I just went through this and I'm not sure I did send the $150 after it was halfway through
