I received a letter in the mail marked as “important credit card information.” Upon opening it the letter stated I had an outstanding debt of $22,384 so I go to check my credit score to see if it’s been effected by this and it has not. I check for any delinquent accounts I have none because I was in fear someone had stolen my identity. So now I’m confused I call the number the woman keeps telling me that I owe this debt and can pay them and their company will pay my creditors. I explain to her that they have the wrong information she then becomes hostile and says I don’t know what I am talking about and I have been delinquent for years on my credit. After asking where they got their information from several times they hung up on me when they were unable to answer the question.
