This is the third notice my mother has received about setting up an affordable payment plan for her "estimated" debt of $21,000. No attempt was made to contact the sender.

This final notice arrived in the mail yesterday. The pre-sorted mail label on the envelope of this letter was from Hicksville, NY, while the printed return address is a PO box in New York City. There is a personalized email address at the bottom of the letter that has the recipient's first and last name preceding the website.

Previous second notice the same estimated creditor balances and claims of lower payments on the same form template, but different contact information, and no company name identified. Address: 337 Garden Oaks Blvd. # 56676, Houston, TX 77018, phone 1-800-450-9113, monthly payment of $315, and deadline of July 20th, 2016. I can send you a scan of that notice via email if it would be helpful, but can only attach one image here.

My mother did not save the envelope from the second notice, or anything from the first notice she received. She was graduating with a advance degree around the time she received the first notice, so she was recently a student. She had moved about 6 months ago, and this was sent to her new address, so however her information was obtained, it was recent.

I received a letter from Debt Services, PO Box 4672, New York, NY. 10163 with a phone number of 1-877-568-8412. Notice Number 0415A-17861. The letter said they had settled a debt of $23,000 for $11,500. I have no outstanding debt of any kind. No where on the letter was any information about the person or business owed the money.

Complete scam and it would terrify and elderly person if they received this notice. They need to fined and closed down.

The letter described a debt of $27,000 from creditor's and offered to facilitate a settlement offer of $13,500 as they were "aware of our current situation". They offered a monthly plan to make payments more affordable. A 36 month plan for $405 a month. No name was given, it was signed Client Negotiations Department. At the bottom was a summary of terms which included instructions to call the number no later than a month from the date it was sent and a personalized website at ***
