I received a letter in the mail from Debt Services stating that they were aware of my current financial situation. They said they would be able to work with my creditors and come to a settlement for my debt. They asked for $165.00 a month for a 36 month program or pay the balance of $5,500 (proposed settlement offer). Once all funds clear and program proceeds were credited to my account, my accounts were to be considered settled and closed. 

The letter also stated that the new status of my account was supposed to be reported to the National Consumer Reporting Agency that it was all clear. 

To get started, they needed authorization to facilitate a settlement by going online to a personalized website that they created for me at https://***.debt-reduction.org.
