Donna WIlliams called from Consumer Impact Recovery several times. She also called 3 members of my family and my husband. She was claiming to represent an agency working to collect debts for EZ Corp EZ Money. Said that I took out a payday loan in 2017 under my maiden name, of which I did not. Threatened that charges would be pressed by her client for theft by deception if I didn't settle right then. She had the last 4 digits of my social, my email, old employer, old address and contact info for my family. I felt cornered and frightened. I "settled" for $530 for fear of the claims. I promptly canceled my credit card from which I used to make the payment and reported the charge as fraudulent. The charge said that it was from "Total Consumer Solutions". I am fearful that they will continue to harass me and the anxiety is overwhelming. I am prepared to secure a lawyer if it is pressed further.
