Received notice of credit settlement in mail referencing 5 financial institutions that I do not have an account with. Its formatted to be like an official notice of unpaid debt that they will take care of. Financial information they rea using is fictitious at best downright FRAUDULANT!!!!

I clicked an ad online for debt relief in canada and promtly received a phone call from a representative offering me debt relief solutions. After some research I realized that what they were offering is a debt settlement which is not guarunteed and can land you with more debt than when you started. The initial fees were high and required to be paid before any debts were actually settled. Very shady.
