Debt Advisors of America Impostor Reports & Reviews (1)

I know, thru tough experiences over the last 10 years following my bankruptcy, that I owe NOTHING to any of the organizations or businesses listed in the letter delivered to me by "Debt Advisors of America" and that it's a general phishing scam. No web site listed, no return address on the envelope, 2 contact phone numbers and the business name appears only once, in small print, at the bottom of the letter, in a dodgy sounding disclaimer to the effect that they're NOT trying to collect a debt... while using phrases in the letter such as "Failure to Respond:, in conjunction with "making your minimum payment", "will result in", "unreasonable rates", "additional penalties".

This operation needs to be shut down. If what they are doing is legitimate, their advertising / solicitation is very suspicious and straddles the legal cracks. I have no plan to call the number unless it's part of a law enforcement sting operation - for which I'd be glad to volunteer! Con men need to be squashed, IMHO. Additionally: ****************************************************************************** is a link to something mailed with the same Permit # from Sacramento, Ca as used in a lawsuit. Look familiar?
