Scammer had puppies on the website. I requested info and was given more info, including pictures and a description of how the purchasing and transportation would work. When I said I wanted it, he said they needed cash before sending it to ensure payment. I sent cash on cashapp and the next day the puppy was “shipped”. I received a tracking email confirming the “shipment of the puppy” with no flight number or any way to get the puppy. Later I received a message saying the carrier was inadequate and they needed me to give them $1,500 more to “rent the crate” and I would get my money back on the “arrival of the puppy”. I told the person that I couldn’t afford it and he claimed the dog would be put in quarantine if I did not pay the money. I requested the money back and he said that it was “not easy” and stopped responding completely. The shipping company is completely illegitimate and after looking into everything more, the puppy’s picture is used in multiple places, so the scammers don’t have the dog either
