I had the same experience as others. Asked $500 for a boy or girl Yorkie. They then dropped it to $300. Wanted a $100 deposit. I told them no.

This person is trying to get people to put down a deposit on a Yorkshire Terrier puppy and has no intent of selling one! Is using a New York phone number along with others and others addresses. MAJOR SCAMMER

The seller text me back and stated that they had a puppy for sale and I asked for pictures because I couldn’t remember from the ad and the price which they told me was $350. Once I’ve said that I like the puppy they told me that they had a girl and a boy available and that if I wanted to secure one I needed to give them $100 deposit because they were a lot of inquiries. They advised me that I could pay by Zelle and I responded that my bank does not allow Zelle transactions, then they responded back that I could do cash app or Venmo. I then advised that I don’t do any sort of money transactions And I played dumb like I didn’t know how to do any of those. A while later I received a comment from another seller that had the same two pictures plus one additional picture of the same puppies in a different city. I asked both sellers if they used another phone number to post the ad and they both said no & at that point I was convinced that there was a scam on behalf of one or possibly both sellers. I did not pick up money, but I drove to the address knocked on the door and no one ever answered. And I advised that I had gone by there and that I believe that they are doing a scam and that I was going to report them. At which time I have not heard back from them at all.
