Spoke to Monica Taylor of Davidson & Associates after a Sabrina left a voicemail on my phone. The voicemail stated it involved a legal matter. After calling their number back, Monica began to flood me with a lot of legal information in regards to a "worthless check" and fraudulent application with USA Cash Loan. When I asked for more information and details concerning this matter, she transferred me to her Supervisor Michelle Miller. Michelle then stated that Davidson & Associates is a "mediation firm" and used 'redirects', tones and verbal mannerisms to try to persuade me that there was nothing left to do but wait for their attorneys to contact me in 4-6 weeks. When I pressed further for details and to repeat the information that Monica flooded me with at the start of the call, Michelle said something to the effect, "Are you recording this... oh so you want me to speak louder for your recording". I wasn't recording the call nor did I state that I was or give her any indication that I was. I simply wanted them to repeat what Monica stated regarding this supposed case at the start of the call. It was then that Michelle put me on hold (in mid-sentence while still speaking and trying to explain the need to have everything at the beginning of the call repeated). I was on hold for 5-10 minutes before they disconnected and dropped the call. I called back immediately and another two times in the span of 5 minutes. But each time, the line was busy (busy signal). I contacted my attorney's office. And they directed me to BBB to fill out this complaint after confirming that there are no legitimate collection accounts in my name and that these people are attempting to collect on invalid collection accounts using part of another legitimate company's dba name.
