There has been MANY ads listed on Craigslist posting fake rental listings. All claim to be moving, or out of state, and are unable to give viewings at this time due to COVID. They want you to fill out the rental application after viewing the property. I have not filled out any applications if the renter is not willing to give me a walk through and I suggest no one else does either. A rental application can give scammers an in to your bank account and/or identities. I have no doubt these ads are scams but I have no way of being 100% sure. This particular creep asked for a picture of me and my family for “application purposes.” Be aware, there is a lot of sex trafficking going on! DO NOT SEND PICS OF YOU OR YOUR FAMILY TO ANYONE!
