I was selling a product online and someone reached out to me to purchase it. They wanted to "pick up" my product through a moving company called "Primex Global Logistics," which doesn't exist. The scammer sent me a cashier's check of over $2,000 to cover the cost of the "moving fee" and the item I was selling. However, he claimed that the moving company didn't allow in-person payment which would require me to send $2,000 using Zelle to a random person. I am expecting my bank to contact me in a few days to tell me that the cashier's check i cashed was fraudulent and that I need to return the money. All the phone numbers given to me by the scammer were from different states. Another layer to this is that the company "Primex Global Logistics" has employees listed on LinkedIn who are all Indian. If you are selling things online, be careful.
