Type of a scam Employment
I applied for a job listing on LinkedIn for a work from home position as Administrative assistant “remote”. I heard back a day after and was asked if I had WhatsApp or Skype to start my interview process. I gave the “recruiter” my cell number and started the interview process via WhatsApp. The interview process seemed legit as I answered all of the questions given. After I asked a lot of questions myself. In the end I still thought someone was off. They gave a link to the website which I would be working for which is a real website but it seems they’re just suing them as reference. Also the recruiter on LinkedIn that contacted me after I applied for the listing has a legit profile on LinkedIn. I thought this was all so odd. I have screenshots and proof of everything so if needed I will send the whole conversation between me and “hiring manager”.
Thank you for your time and people like this should be sent to jail for trying to scam people that are already in need.
