Met David Mogren on OKCupid, divorced, living in Canada, self-employed geological engineer specializing in mining/metallurgy; claimed born in Sweden, US naturalization, permanent residency in Canada. Traveled to Northern Cyprus for work and claimed after he wired money to the company listed in the attached file that his account was frozen due to TRNC being a Turkish Republic and he needed urgently to get $15,000 to pay for laborer. He had me log onto his alleged bank account while on phone with me so I could see his balance and know he had funds available. That’s how it began then it grew one crisis after another up until 2/4/23 when he allegedly returned to Canada and was held by CBSA who needed some info from Turkey, then earthquakes delayed so he was stuck. I contacted customs who said they will not hold someone for weeks in their home country. When I tried calling him appears my number is blocked, tried texting and got automated message from a Turkish phone number stating number is a landline. His email no longer is working and get automated message that email does not exist.
