Type of a scam Online Purchase
A text came thru saying he was David Michael and wanting to pay full price thru pay pal and would send semi to pick up thru pay pal and he would pay all fees. We gave him our home address and our email address. Then he texted back that pay pal needed $1900 wired to Florida before release of $12,000?. We texted him that we contacted pay pal and Pay pal said he did not exist and for him to call pay pal.
( He does not answer his phone.)
He sent text that said he called pay pal and they placed funds on hold til we sent funds. Within minutes we received a fake pay pal email to wire money from western union to Florida. We called Pay Pal and they took his email address and said there was nothing Pay Pal could do. We texted the man back and told him sorry no sale.
