Saw a job opportunity and so they contacted me and started to act like I was applying for this position and even did an interview on the telegram app. Then proceeded to get more info from me like they wanted a picture of my social security card and my ID card. First Red Flag. They also wanted to know if I could do a mobile deposit. They said they would send me a check in the mail and then they wanted me to mobile deposit it. They also asked if I had a printer. The person said they would provide all equipment necessary/ Then said, they should send money to go to a vendor to pay for the required software. That didn't settle well, so I stopped the conversation on the telegram app. Screenshots were taken of the conversation and then the app and all personal info were deleted. I will be having my identity info monitored as well.

Reponsed to a job ad, did an interview and they responded very late which was very odd and after explaining the job and everything expected for the job they started talking about money and mobile deposit without signing anything and wanting me to send money or get the check they send deposited. I had weird feeling and had a alarm bell go off with the pushing and saying that I had to do this crazy deposit before sending equipment.

They got my name, address, phone number, email, ID and bank name only.

I took screen[censored]z of the whole conversation and deleted the ID photos.

They wanted to send me a check thru my email and print it off then cut it off then sign and mobile deposit the check take money out for sign on bonus but the rest to go to a vendor of their choice to pay for software for the position on laptop that they were sending.
