I am the owner of a small business who was recently contacted by a consumer who had claimed an offer supposedly advertised on a site called LocalSaver.com. It appears to be something like Groupon, offering deals on services. I had never heard of this service, or offered any deals for my business on it. When I tried to contact them, my emails where sent back as "not able to deliver." There is no contact phone number on their website, but it did list the mailing address and phone for their parent company, Data Sphere Technologies in Bellevue, WA. I tried calling them, but was put on hold and cut off. I tried again and left my number for a call back which never happened. I contacted the person who had claimed my supposed coupon, and she told me that she didn't give them any money. I am assuming this is a scam company.
