"Dan Wood" contacted me by zoosk dating app. He said he was from military stationed in Syria. I am not from here so I dont know anything from military. He said his accounts were frozen and that please send him money, then he was going to lose his house so he needed money for the rent and then he lost his riffle while fighting in Syria and wanted money to buy the gun because he was supposed to be in court martialed. I cut ties with him, sometime later, he wrote me again, he was supposed to come back 2 weeks later and needed money to come back so he sent me a 29000 check and asked me to cash it and buy crypto currency and send it to him. Then he called me 30 times because he needed his money but I still have the check and never sent the money. He called using another phone number. Then through the app he contacted me again using another alias, other information. He said he was a lieutenant. There is one with the same name. I contacted him to alert him that someone is using his information but never contacted me.
