This person also scams with the stolen identity "Andrew L. Frank." He sent me the exact same email he sent one of the other people here. His website domain is andrewapartmentrentals.org and the other one is danielsuarezrentals.com. Funnily enough, it's the exact same website, I think he just switches the pictures of the broker and the names every time someone catches on to him.

Update: take a close look at his ID - it’s photoshoped. It all looks believable but I’m so sorry for people who’d believe this and send their hard working earned money to this “person”. Ugh.

Same thing happened to me on Craigslist. I would recommend everyone to ask for their social media accounts such as LinkedIn to ensure that this person exists. Also, why would the owner of real estate company answer my Craigslist- he should at least have an assistant, no? But I have to give him a credit - comparing to other scammers on Craigslist he’s done his best to make it look believable :)

I am looking for subleases on craigslist, obviously I am not dumb so I researched the address and unit number apparently owned by this company, and came to find it is not owned by whoever this "daniel suarez" guy is. He has a realistic website and has probably scammed so many people. I told him I had a friend who was scammed on craigslist before and he said to trust him and sent me a picture of an ID and a certificate but no proof of owning the unit listed and said AFTER I paid he would set up a viewing to see the unit. I then called him out on not owning that unit and told him he was being reported and never responded.
