We lost our dog few months ago and we decided to look for a puppy. I found the site cutepupieshome.com ( with one p only ) with a very decent price compared to other sites including the shipping. Then I asked for few more pictures I got them I believed I was communicating with a lady and sent me an email asking questions like where we are living, if we have house, yard, I thought professional questions a breeder likes to know she answered the next morning, saying the puppy was living indoor with her family but mentioned “she “few times about the puppy, I replied saying be sure we want a male, she apologized saying she was at work and he was a male.and she sent sale contract, signed return it. Then I asked about Palpal she said no we take Cash App. I downloaded the app open the account transferred $700 price of the pup and told me what to do and went through like this zoom!!! Then she ask for proof of transfer saying it was her boy’s account, I got her mail saying my son got the money thanks for your trust, and said my break is coming then I will take care of the rest and the pup should leave tonight. I thought was going fast !!! Too fast. I got another email saying the puppy is the agency? I thought they were going to the airport. The agency called us asking for $900 to get aboard with a wooden cage and its no worry it’s refundable when you get the puppy , and I said the flight was included with price of the pup, scratching my ear I didn’t want to believe what was going on , I said no I’m sorry we didn’t know about that and the guy said well the puppy stays here . I sent an email to the seller and said I call the agency and replied saying don’t worry you get your refund later. And I transferred $900 and paid and I got the immediate message, the slap on my face and screamed I got scammed and I WAS, and even more upset because I’m always very careful. Next morning phone calls from Kirkland Washington saying your pup needs life insurance to be able to fly and it’s refundable when the pup arrives $1500, we declined and we received texts saying I give you 30 minutes to pay if not we’re going to abandon the puppy in New Mexico. Got an email from the seller he got a message from the agency saying we were rude to them . My last email was I think the police are looking for the pup in New Mexico and for my lost money. No more contact. It’s a long story. I was suspicious but vulnerable enough to go through we wanted a Cavapoo puppy then if you see sites with inexpensive pups and it’s few of them go to a breeder or rescue but hard to find a puppy . I saved all the emails and texts.
